FAQs Regarding Linear Vibrating Screen

Q: What is the general gradient of the linear vibrating screen?

A: The slope angle of the linear vibrating screen is 0 °~7 °, which is different according to the material characteristics.

Q: What if the linear vibrating screen moves too slowly?

A: 1. Check the tightness of the screen to ensure that the screen surface is tight;

2. The slope angle of the linear vibrating screen shall be adjusted to be larger within the range of 0 °~7 °;

3. Select the vibration motor with large actuation force;

If the problem still cannot be solved, you can choose an experienced manufacturer to purchase a new machine.

Q: The rotation direction of the two motors of the linear vibrating screen?

A: When two motors are running relative to each other, one is running in the positive direction and the other is running in the reverse direction. The transverse exciting force generated by the two motors will offset each other due to the relative operation of the motor, as shown in the following figure:

Q: What is the installation angle of the linear vibrating screen motor?

A: There are two types of motor for linear vibrating screen: one is up vibrating type, the other is down vibrating type. The installation angle cannot be fixed. The angle may vary according to various factors such as equipment size and configuration. The schematic diagrams of the two types are as follows:

7. Fixing plate for transportation (removed when using!)  8. Support  9. Screen box

10. Vibration plate 11. Vibration motor   12. Vibration damping (isolation) spring   13. Lifting ring

Q: Can the linear vibrating screen only use one motor?

A: No, the exciting force generated by the operation of a single motor cannot be offset, which causes the equipment to tilt and damage. See the working principle of the linear vibrating screen for details.

Working principle of linear vibrating screen: When the two vibration motors installed on the screen body longitudinally operate relative to each other, the transverse exciting forces generated by them offset each other due to the relative operation of the motors, and the longitudinal exciting forces are transmitted to the whole screen box through the vibration transmission body to make the screen surface vibrate for screening.
